The crew of Game On played Job Simulator this week. In this unique game you take on various jobs as robots have come to understand them. This tongue in cheek game lets you take on the role of a gourmet chef, office worker, mechanic, or store clerk.
We didn’t have the opportunity to play the store clerk due to time, but had the chance to play the other roles.This game can be described as the ‘Wii Play’ for VR. It is a very well executed, simple concept that allows you to get the feel for VR in a fun way. The games aren’t serious, there is no pressure to complete the tasks, and they are pretty silly without going over the top.
We all recommended this game if you are deciding to pick up the hardware for VR. There are some great opportunities to have some fun with friends in this game, both from the player’s perspective and from a spectator’s.
